Bauer's Vapor HyperLite 2 leg pads live up to their name with an ultra-light construction, built around a soft, streamlined profile to hug and flex with the goalie's every move.

Core Construction
CURV® Composite Reinforced Thigh Rise: High-strength, ultra-lightweight CURV® composites have been implemented to reinforce each thigh-rise, ensuring rigid 5-hole coverage and proper pad seal. Compared to commonly used impact-resistant materials such as ABS plastic, polycarbonate, and fiberglass composites, CURV® composite offers unmatched resistance to cracking, deforming, or splintering at low temperatures.
Rebound Boost Core Padding: Bauer's Vapor core is built to fire pucks away from the crease, padded with springy Rebound Boost foams throughout the core.

Outer Construction
S.L.1.D.3.R. Skin: Introduced with the Supreme Mach leg pads, Bauer's S.L.1.D.3.R. skin is a one-piece thermoformed pad skin, designed for an ultra-lightweight balance between durability and pop.
Rebound Edge: Streamlined outer roll design with stiff padding to help maintain their soft s-curve and reduce skip-over.

Thigh Flex Options
Soft, Dynamic Flex Core w/ Pre-Curve (Stock): Prioritizing flexibility and comfort, Bauer's Vapor core profile features a deep, pre-curved S-shape with a dynamic flex that progressively softens up from the knee break.
Mid (Ultrasonic) Flex: Found in Bauer's Supreme Ultrasonic pads, Bauer's mid flex thigh is softer, with more flex in thighs compared to the Mach pads while maintaining a wide, more squared butterfly.
Stiff (Mach) Flex: Featured in Bauer's Supreme Mach pads, Bauer's stiff thigh option maximizes 5-hole coverage, forming a wide, squared butterfly with a slight curve and rigid thigh rise.

Calf & Knee Support
Hybrid Calf Support System: The Hybrid Calf System featured on the HyperLite 2 pads meets the ice with a streamlined calf plate, backed by a small calf support pillow to fill negative space in the calves, stabilizing the pads' butterfly.
Single Bracket Calf Reinforcement: Internally, the HyperLite 2 pads' calf system is reinforced with a single bracket, better balancing flex and stability compared to the Supreme Mach pads' rigid double bracket reinforcement.

Knee Block Options
StabiliSlide (Supreme): Stiff, directly-integrated knee block topped with a tactile synthetic suede for a stable butterfly and precision knee movements.
StabiliFlex (Vapor - Stock): Integrated knee block topped with Bauer's adaptive Stabili-grip offers a confident landing while allowing for a bit more flex.

Knee Wing Options
Adjustable (Stock): Knee strap can be run across to the knee wing, down to the calf wrap, or removed entirely with the knee wing.
Center Sewn In: Knee wing sewn in, center height to knee block.

Leg Channel & Boot
Streamlined Leg Channel: The HyperLite 2 pads are built to move with the goalie, hugging the legs with a flush leg channel profile. Improving mobility, these pads' leg channels are lined with nylon, lighter and more streamlined compared to the first-generation HyperLite pads.
110° Soft Flex Boot: Bauer's HyperLite 2 pads feature a flush boot with a softer flex and narrower angle compared to the Supreme Mach pads. On the ice, the HyperLite 2 pads' 110° soft flex boot improves comfort and coverage options at the post with a greater range of motion in the ankles.

Leg Channel Strapping Options
Supreme Tune Fit+ Strapping (Stock): Y-shaped, padded calf strapping with easy adjustments at the top and bottom of the calves, prioritizes comfort and precision control.
Tune Fit 2.0 Strapping (Vapor): V-shaped, elastic calf strapping with easily-adjustable tension at the top and bottom of the calves, prioritizes a flush, easy-to-rotate feel.

Boot Strapping Options
None (Stock)
Long/Short CRS Strap: Elastic boot strapping
Leather Boot Strap

Toe Tie Options
Centered Elastic Toe-Tie System (Stock): Elastic toe ties secure each boot with more give over traditional skate lace toe ties, offering improved edge control and greatly reducing lower body strain.
Centered Skate Lace: Traditional skate lace toe ties offer a strong, static hold, keeping the pad's boot tighter on the skate with little slip.
