Knee-to-Floor Measurement: Without skates or shoes, crouch or sit with your hips slightly elevated above your knees. Next, keeping your feet flat on the floor and your knees centered over your ankles as best as possible, measure the vertical distance from the floor to the middle of the knee cap. This is your knee-to-floor measurement, and is the measurement primarily used to find the best general/recommended leg pad fit. Refer to the thigh rise measurement if you are ordering custom, in-between sizes, or prefer a slightly different fit.

Thigh Rise Measurement: Thigh rise is measured from the same position, measuring from mid-knee cap to just above the mid-thigh, as a general recommendation. Thigh rise height is largely a player preference and is worth considering that most manufacturers only offer one thigh rise option on stock pad lines, typically a +1" or +2". Additional and half-inch thigh rise measurements are available through custom order only.
